How did you go from being a collection of pixels?
On the other end of a computer screen
To being the most important person in my life?
The one thought of at dawns and dusks?
When did I decide that I would lay down my life for you?
That it would be a perfectly good idea
To raise your kids and build you a home?
What possessed me to fall so deeply for you
When all reason dictates that it shouldn't work?
And why do I know that this is the love
The one that's going to outlast all the others?
