Literature Text

Cast your sail to the wind
With adventure in your heart
Carry hope and aspiration
Just as close as maps and charts

Build your boat up tall and true
Source all the help you can
For journeys seldom end alone
Light work takes many hands

Brave the monsters of the sea
Beware of tooth and claw
Yet keep the goal set in your mind
Seek ever towards the dawn

For there will come a time, dear one
When your hull will kiss the shore
And you'll embrace the one you love
Each day, forevermore.
A little piece about wanting something..

Someone..

Somehow..

Huzzah, Black-Roses' fluff! I always enjoy your love poetry, you manage to use very old metaphors without them seeming cliche. this one in particular reminds me of a song "somewhere beyond the sea," but with much more emphasis on the journey, which I really enjoy.
